This is an absolutely gorgeous swing that we will enjoy for years to come, thus the fives stars! However, no written instructions were included, only tiny PDFs available through Etsy. For the price point, the bottom bed slats should have been stained the same color as the rest of the swing because during the winter we won’t keep the cushion outside, so those slats will show and also be exposed to the elements. I also don’t love the directional writing on the actual swing base that says Right and Left in permanent black Sharpie marker. For such an expensive item, there should have been A) a set of printed instructions with the swing B) matching stained base slats and C) no Sharpie directional markings written on the actual swing base. Finally, it ships unassembled and took my extremely handy husband a solid two hours to build.
